| Sportsmen’s Dinner - Friday the 3rd of October 2008 - 8:00pm Fri 3rd October 2008 At the Clubhouse 7.30pm for 8.00pm. Cost £37.50 per person. Speakers David Johnson David played his football at the highest level during his long and distinguished career. From 1970 to 1985 palyed for Everton (twice) Ipswich, Liverpool, Manchester City, Barnsley (on loan), Tulsa Roughnecks and Preston North End. David also represented England 8 times. During his time at Liverpool he forged a succesful partnership with Kenny Dalglish that resulted in 4 league championship medals and winning the European Cup in 1980/81. Mike Farrell Mike is a traditional stand up comedian from Yorkshire. No props, no gimmicks, just strong material and the professionalism to put it across. He rates amongst the top dinner comedians on the circuit.
